The New York State Museum located in Albany is one of my favorite buildings in the Capital Region.

The museum sits at one end of the Empire State Plaza and has unique architecture. I love how the sun, blue sky, and clouds contrast the gray roof of the museum.

No better way than spending part of my birthday at a place where I spent time going on vacation with my family as a child. Lake George was a place where my immediate and extended families were able to carve a week or two out of our busy lives to enjoy each other’s company.

This old Studebaker Truck sits at the end of the driveway of the Vischer Ferry General Store.
