Average peak fall foliage

Orange leaves on maple tree

Fall has always been one of my favorite seasons.

There is something about being able to visibly see the changes in the leaves going from green to various shades of yellow, red, and orange. As with any transitional period, I always find these predefined moments a great way to reconnect with yourself and your current path.

Fall and spring have both been two seasons that bring about these biggest forms of self-reflection. It’s also a great time to reconnect and be in nature when it may be too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.

The following map is an average time when you can expect peak fall foliage in your area. Weather and elevation also factor in when and how quickly the leaves change.
