I was scrolling through TikTok a few days ago and stumbled on this video on society’s use of social media.
The poster asks, “If social media were not to exist tomorrow, who would you be? And how would you act?”
I love this question because it requires you to look at how social media is affecting your life. Is social media running your life or complimenting it?
Personally, social media is just a tool. I don’t use it for validation or to get views or clicks. It is a way to connect but in a way that coincides with my life offline.
I suppose I would have more time to do things I have been putting off. I would have more time to read or learn some different skills. It is also possible to focus more on the things that matter most.
