52 Frames Photo Challenge
Cactus
A photo of a cactus in a terracotta pot on my dad’s kitchen table. This weeks photo challenge was a bit difficult since it is hard to create a shallow depth of field on an iPhone. Since editing is an important piece of photography, I shot this photo in portrait mode and then worked on my editing skills to get the shallow depth of field for the image.
Winter Trees
I love the simplicity of black and white photography. I shot this photo of some trees in my backyard following a winter storm for the weekly photo challenge I am participating in this year. It was naturally gray and gloomy making it a perfect black and white photo!
Coffee Beans
For this week, the challenge was to get minimalist and simple shots. I had fun experimenting with the light from the morning sun and angles to get the best shot of the coffee beans. It was a little challenging keeping things in focus since the lens on my phone had to focus on multiple objects at once.
Complementary Colors
I submitted this photo for a weekly photo contest I am participating in each week of the year.
