Cardinals are pretty hard to miss and are my favorite bird. During the spring, cardinals frequent my yard. While sitting at my bistro table, this one was calling from a tree right behind me in my neighbor’s yard.
I also captured a video of the cardinal. In the distance, you could hear the female cardinal responding to the call. Unfortunately, you cannot hear the responding call on the video.
A short time after I stopped filming, the cardinal flew away!
