The calmness of water

Ripples in the water of the Mohawk River in Schenectady, NY.

Being near bodies of water has always brought me peace and solitude.

It is a place for me to reflect and gather my thoughts and reconnect with myself. Watching the gentle movement of water as it ripples along. The waves as they crash or gently move across the shore.

Water has been a quiet reminder that life is constantly changing. We can either go with the current or fight the change.

Nature always has a way of giving us insight and inspiration. A sense of calm that allows us to hear who we truly are, a way to get away from distractions and just be.

Pour your worries, anxiety, and stress into the river and let it float away. Allow the current to disperse that energy into something new.

Life becomes more simple and easier the more that we let the current of life take over.

Nature is always reminding us to find balance in our lives and that nothing is permanent.

Letting go allows us to release the old to make room for the new. Just how the current of the river moves things along to bring in something new.
