Some reflections on 2022

Paper with 2022 on it.

Happy New Year! 2022 challenged and helped me grow in so many ways. I am so excited to see how all my work this year plays out in the coming months.

One of the biggest lessons this year was forgiveness and acceptance. I took some extended time to look at my past and history to forgive and let go of things that are no longer serving me.

I often talk about growth and healing on my blog. Growth is more than just learning about concepts and principles, it’s also about putting them into practice. There were moments of solitude, reflection, and going inward, but also adventure and trying new things. It is all about balance and that is what I am always trying to bring into my life.

2022 also taught me that sometimes you may have to let go of some things that you may not have the answers to or be patient to see how it unfolds. Not everything in life is black and white and open and closed. Be open to change, be flexible, and be true to yourself.

Looking back at this year, I can see how 2021 helped set the stage for 2022. The skills I learned came back into focus for me throughout the year. I was able to tap into that skill set to understand more of who I am. In 2022, I continued speaking my truth, continued to develop my leadership and mentorship skills with my Meetup group, met some amazing people and friends, and took more trips and adventures.
