While this Thanksgiving will look different due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, I am thankful for so much this year.

I am grateful for my health, family, my job, and the lessons I have learned over the past year. Times of uncertainty and challenges do not have to bring fear. Instead, we can let them bring opportunities for change and growth.

Whatever your Thanksgiving looks like this year, many Americans are struggling due to the pandemic. Millions of Americans are relying on food banks to feed themselves and their families. 

According to Feeding America, the number of food insecure people in 2020 could rise to more than 50 million, including 17 million children. 

CBS Sunday Morning highlighted the need in San Antonio, Texas but the need is also being felt across the country. Here is a clip from the segment:
