I had an interesting conversation earlier this week with one of my coworkers about traveling into space. I am not sure what prompted this discussion but it got me thinking.
Since then, I have been asking people this question with mixed results. Some want to while others do not. There does not seem to be a gray area.
Personally, if I could I would travel into space in a heartbeat. I don’t need to spend weeks or months up there but just enough time to be able to experience it all.
I look at it this way — it would be like walking outside of your house for the first time. For all this time you have been working on the interior of your home without ever experiencing the outside.
I know seeing Earth from space for the first time would be such an emotional and breathtaking experience. A once a lifetime moment. I would even leave my camera at home, wait, who am I kidding!?
If you could travel into space, would you? Why or why not?
